Dear Parent & Student I have attached announcement from Minister of Education regarding postponement of the Leaving Certificate 2020. All students will be offered the option of accepting Calculated Grades or sitting Leaving Certificate written examinations at a later date. I will be meeting with the staff and Board of Management over the coming days and all parents and students will be informed as to how the options will operate in the school. Please find attached letters from Principal: one to parents of 6th years and one to parents of other years. As schools have been closed until further notice, we await further development over the coming weeks. While there has been much much speculation regarding opening of schools, Leaving Cert examinations and Junior Cycle assessments we await official updates over the coming week. The DES and SEC websites will be updated to show current guidelines.
