There was great excitement in the school this morning for our annual First Year Awards. Unfortunately every student cannot be nominated for an award. Nevertheless when a student tries their best there is personal reward within. The anticipation was palpable as the nominations were announced. Followed by both delight and a tinge of disappointment. Then there was elation for some when the winners were announced as they realised that their wonderful effort during the year was recognised by our school community. We will follow up with some of the winners tomorrow - to the students that were a little disappointed - there will be more opportunities in the future. Keep up the excellent work!
