Congratulations to Nathan Wrenn and James Keogh who represented Scoil Mhuire in  the Kildare Final of the  Student Enterprise Mini Company Competition 2019 today .Both Nathan and James did themselves, their families and the school proud. It really was a fantastic day. Their bespoke, handcrafted and very creative  stand will be on display in the main lobby of the school next week. If anyone is looking for gifts for occasions, chalk boards,  framed messages, framed names or indeed small notice boards both Nathan and James are still selling and are open for business.

First Year Parent/Teacher Meeting this Wednesday 13th March beginning at 4.15pm. This meeting will finish at 6.45pm. Please do not leave it too late to allow yourself time to meet all of your student's teachers. Please notify the school if you are unable to attend this meeting.

The school Yearbook committee will be taking tutor pictures for all 6th year tutor groups tomorrow Tuesday 12th March. Every family receives a copy of the school Yearbook so it will be a lovely memento to have in their final year at Scoil Mhuire.

Our wonderful Fifth Year students under the guidance of Mr Carr and Ms Watson will be performing in their annual production on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th of March. This year it is "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller. Please support them!

Thank you for downloading our school App. We are steadily making progress. You will find the most recent items in the News/Notifications section and older news items in the Archive section. Presently we are not using the various permission forms - Absentee forms, permission to leave etc. We are currently working on how best to operate this system within our school.We hope to have this facility operational from Monday 11th March 2019. We will post further information later next week. We will usually post items with push notifications between 7 - 9pm. Urgent messages may be sent with a push notification earlier or later if deemed necessary. Please check in with our App daily.

Philip Nolan President Maynooth University recently presented our students Ciara Bartley and Cian Nowlan Rooney and their teachers Ms Áine Deschenes and Ms Denise Farrell with awards recognising excellence in Junior Cycle Higher Level Business Studies. These awards are presented by Maynooth University in association with the Business Studies Teachers Association of Ireland. Well done to Ciara and Cian and we wish them every success in both their academic and other pursuits in the future. Thank you to Ms Deschenes and Ms Farrell for their continuous guidance and support for all their students.
