Permission to leave school

Dear Parent/Guardian, We would like to take this opportunity as students return to the school building to remind you to please submit a note using the "Permission to Leave" facility on this App where your student may have to leave school during the day for an essential medical appointment/essential family reason. Students should not leave school for any other reason. All students must then sign out at the School Office before leaving our school. Where a student leaves our school without signing out at the Office, it will be deemed that they have left our school without permission. It is extremely important that we know where all students in our care are throughout the school day. To reduce the risk associated with Covid19, students that sign out during the school day must not return to our school until the next morning. Many thanks. Padraig Nolan

TY Mini-Company Finalists.

Wishing the Mini-Company Finalists nothing but success in their entries to The County Enterprise Awards. Two TY companies from Scoil Mhuire are finalists at this Entrepreneurial competition, whereby both companies submitted their comprehensive business plans to the judges today. Lochlann Perris, Ethan Farrell and Kenneth McDermott developed and brought to the market their product "Covid Companion". Their product aims to alleviate children's fears and anxieties during Covid 19 and to help parents and guardians sprinkle some much needed positivity and happiness to their child. "Food-ucate" an innovate cookbook which instils healthy eating patterns among children is the company founded, developed and successfully run by Emma Halpin, Choe Curran and Alex Carpenter. After pursuing an aggressive promotional campaign, the enterprising students received huge support from the local business community. The girls strongly believe there is an appetite! for their product and this is just the start of their entrepreneurial journey. Results of the competition will be announced at a virtual event on March 25th. Ms Deschenes.
