A Thought For the Times St Augustines was born in Tagaste(Algeria) in 354 and his life covered a time of deep crisis, not unlike our own in the current climate. Augustine was sustained by the firm belief that God walks with us on every step of our journey through life, closer to us than we are to ourselves. May all members of the Friary family- students, parents, teachers - be reassured by that belief as we negotiate the fears and uncertainties of the Covid 19 virus, school closures,pending examinations, etc. A Prayer for the Times Lord we ask you to renew in our school and in our families the spirit you gave to the Bishop St Augustines. Grant that in our desire for true peace and wisdom, we may never cease to search for you, the foundation of unending love. This prayer we make through Christ, our Lord . Amen Fr. Gerry Horan O.S.A
