Dear Parent/Guardian, I hope this note finds you well. As we come towards the end of another busy period in school we draw strength from the sense of community and goodwill that has sustained us over this time. As a school community we have shown great resilience and fortitude in maintaining most of those elements of the school routine that we cherish. Enormous credit goes to our students and staff and their families for keeping an appropriate focus on teaching and learning while looking out for each other’s wellbeing. Everyone can go into the Easter break with the satisfaction of a job well done. We send best wishes to our 6th year students as they sit oral and practical exams during the Easter holidays. This is a very busy and very important time in their lives, and we will continue to offer as much support to these students over the remainder of the school year. Our 3rd year students are also busy completing CBAs as well as preparing for the Junior Cycle exams. We are delighted to announce the incoming 20 Senior Prefects team of 2022-202. The team will be led by Captain Mia O’Connor and she will be assisted by deputy Captains Melodie Aremu, Anna Lumingkit, Enya O’Brien, Emma Shannon and Caitlin Troy and supported by Jessica Ambrose, Aoibhinn Bridge, Amy M Butler, Cassandro Cano, Ríona Daly, Fiona Flynn, Elena Hendrick, Ruth Kinsella, Kate Lincoln, Erica Long, Emma Mitten, Eimhín McGann, Muireann O’Loughlin and Eva Synnott. We wish these students the very best as they take on this very important student leadership role in our school. Even though we have a very busy period ahead in concluding the school year we are already planning for the new school year in September. Our school app will be shortly populated with school charges for next year. We understand that this is a very challenging period for all families and are hoping that by issuing these charges early and by putting in place an instalment structure that this may help. School Charges for 2022/2023: You are requested to have completed the payment of school charges before the student’s return in late August. The school charges for 2022/2023 will be set out in the school app shop. Timely receipt of school charges enables the school to better manage its budget. Schools such as ours receive far less funding than state owned schools. A sibling discount will apply as always. Parents who are in exceptional circumstances and are unable to meet the above schedule of payments are asked to contact the school so that alternative arrangements can be made. We wish all our students, staff and the Holy Family Community a restful and peaceful Easter break. Yours sincerely, Sarah Allen Katherine Kissane Eimear O’Brien Principal Deputy Principal Deputy Principal
