There is a free webinar taking place next Wednesday the 16th of November at 7pm called The importance of sleep for our teenagers.  The main speaker is Lucy Wolfe and she will be giving some information and guidance around this topic.  Lucy is best known for the books she has written on sleep for young children, but she has prepared some very useful material specifically for this webinar and the parents of teenagers.

Notes submitted without a reason will have your child's absence recorded as unexplained which may have implications should your child's attendance be submitted to Tusla on reaching 20 days absence.

Tara Kelly co-founder of "New Authority Parenting" and M Sc/ Doctoral Researcher will produce this short webinar and will look at some of the reasons why children and adolescents avoid school.

Strategies for supporting parents and the child, managing conflict about school and accessing support will be presented. There will be an opportunity for parents to bring questions to the session.

This webinar is hosted by Longford Westmeath CYPSC who announce the commencement of their Parenting Webinar Series, as part of the LW CYPSC Healthy Ireland ‘Family Wellness Initiative’.
