Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
Our 1st year Parent-Teacher Meetings will take place on Monday 5th December from 4.15pm. We look forward to meeting you on the evening.
In total, your child's meetings will take approximately one hour and will begin between 4.15pm and 6.15pm. School will finish at 3.40pm for all students on this date.
We have 72 students in 1st year and thus meetings with each teacher should not exceed 5 minutes. Please be mindful of this when you are attending so that all parents have time with the relevant teachers.
Please reply via the school App or by email to principal@cmbm.ie before Thursday 1st December if you CANNOT attend or if there is a particular time needed for you to attend the
parent-
teacher meeting so that we can allow for smooth scheduling for all who can attend. Non-reply will assume attendance.
Your meeting time will issue prior to the 5th December and all meetings will be held in person in the school gymnasium.
Kind regards,
Michelle McDermott

The Junior Boys Gaa team played out an extremely entertaining game in Round one of the Connacht D competition in Mohill on Wednesday afternoon 5th October.
It was Mohill who started the better of the two sides, taking an early three point lead in the first five minutes of the game. Colaiste Muire got their act together and started to deliver quick ball into the forward line on which lead to good scores from Eoghan Nerney and Liam O’Dowd. A penalty converted half way into the first half by Tiernan Mongey Scanlon gave Ballymote the lead but Mohill powered back to bring it all level at half time,1-5 to 0-8.
Ballymote took control of the start of the second half converting well worked scoring opportunities and Tiernan converted another penalty to give Ballymote a three point lead.
Scores were traded and Ballymote will rue missed chances to seal the game out. Mohill battled back and scored a goal with a minute to go, to bring it all level. The game ended in a draw with the score line being 2:11- 1:14.
The team will now face Grange at home in the next round.
