Well done to our French and German students in TY who took part in our Inernational Soccer Blitz yesterday (Thurs) as part of MFL week. We had teams representing both Francophone and Germanophone countries such as France, Germany, Ghana, Austria and Niger.

Some of the activities that have taken place between Monday and Wednesday to celebrate MFL week have included a first year scavenger hunt, cooking and delivering European dishes to classes and updating of our Lyrics on the Lap displays. Well done to all. More activities to come….

Congratulations to our Junior team on their victory over St. Augustine’s, Dungarvan in the first group game of the Munster C championship today. It was also our first football match in our new school field - a great start to the PPS football season. Well done girls!

Our first year students of Blackwater Community School  arrived this afternoon for their first day ,  meeting School Principal. Mr Denis Ring. their acting Year Head/Deputy  Principal, Ms O Brien along with Caroline, School Chaplin, Fr Cullinan, and tutors. what a busy few days our students have had as helpers on this year's Lourdes Pilgrimage. they canbe proud of their hard work. positive attitude, friendly smiles, chats and giggles. a great support to all. they are on their homeward journey today
