Hard luck to our first year basketball team who narrowly lost the North East Regional Final to Virginia College earlier today. It was a fantastic game and a great achievement for our first year team!
The theme this year is tackling over consumption. Our current way of living and consuming is unsustainable.️ We use more resources than the earth can provide. Areas that we can make changes in our lives include using more sustainable options for transport and more environmentally friendly shopping habits like swap shops.
Home economics can help guide changes, making it easier for everyone to live sustainably and enjoy a good quality of life.
Happy World Home Economics day from everyone in the Home Ec department ️
