Hello from our 1A, 1B and 1C first year classes! Well done on completing your first week in secondary school. We are delighted to see you settling in so comfortably! Keep up the great work!
We wish our school choir the very best as they travel to Derry on Friday 21st October for the City of Derry International Choral Festival.
The choir will participate in the competition for 3 and 4-part secondary school choirs and will also participate in the Post-Primary School Big Sing workshop with Finnish choral group Rajaton. This will all take place at the Millenium Forum in Derry.
In the afternoon the Coláiste Muire Choir will perform at the Foyleside shopping centre.
Well done to all involved who have spent many evenings after school rehearsing and preparing and sincere thanks to Mr. O'Connor and Ms. Heaney McGreal who have worked with the choir this term to prepare them for the festival.
Go n-eirí on t-ádh libh go léir!

Thank you to the Student Council who helped Malachi collect the money from students.

Its lovely to see our students making use of our new outdoor space. The benches were added last Spring and over the summer, Pat Kilcoyne and Padraic Healy built the covered space so that students and teachers can enjoy this space in all types of weather! Thank you both Pat and Padraic for a wonderful job!
Pictured here are our two TY classes enjoying a day out in Strandhill recently. TYs are going to Zipit in Boyle next Thursday and are looking forward to that excursion. Hope it stays dry!
