A reminder that there is a parent/guardian information session regarding Study Skills on Monday 23rd September in St. Joseph's Hall at 7pm.. It will be delivered by Amazing Brains who are working specifically with 3rd Year and 5th Year students so it's a great opportunity for parents/guardians to hear the same messages regarding study habits. Interested parents/guardians of 2nd - 6th Year students are welcome to attend. There will be a separate night for parents of 1st Year students on 28th November.
Science Week 2019

Today marks the beginning of Science Week 2019. The theme this year is Climate Action, aiming to explore ways we can help to reduce excess carbon dioxide. There will be themed events running throughout the week in OLS, students are encouraged to keep an eye on the noticeboard at reception for the lunchtime events happening each day, and to cast their vote in the 'Climate Change Question of the Day'. There will be a lunchtime screening of the documentary "Cowspiracy" in the GPA at lunchtime, all welcome!

Well done to all the students who took part in their first Rec Studies Hike this Wednesday. They were enthusiastic and hard working through out. Our TYs completed their first development day on Thursday and all represented the school wonderfully to all our visiting speakers. Reminder Carlingford payments and permission slips (on app) are due today. If you are having difficulties with the app please send an email to Ms. Phillips to notify of permission and contact app company to rectify issue for further permission slips. If you are having difficulties with payments please get in contact with the office for the attention of the accounts department.. Please find attached the slides from Tuesdays talk for anybody who could not make it, and a letter with a Carlingford pack list and departure/return times which your daughter received a hard copy of Wednesday. .
