Today our amazing students received prizes for their attendance, their participation in clubs, their achievements inside and outside the school, and their keen interest in the library. On Friday TY Nessa class held a Christmas Market to sell their amazing mini company products! We had crystal necklaces from Crystal Quartz, a hot chocolate bar & sweets from the Treat Trolly, cookies & brownies from Dream Puff Bakes, bracelets from HJ Jewellery and wax melts from CK Wax Melts. A big well done to girls for all their hard work it was a great event enjoyed by all
Dec out Your Door Competition

Hotly contested our annual Dec out Your Door competition saw the standard rise in Mount Carmel this year. Congratulations to 2nd year Áine Class who won 1st prize by creating the Polar Express, complete with the train! 2nd prize went to G3 Niamh Class in 3rd year with their snowball fight scene. Finally we had a 'Take an Elfie' door which snapped up 3rd prize for 5th year class Mairead in G4. Well done all!!

Reminder tomorrow is the last day to buy tickets for the student raffle. €1 a strip, all proceeds go to Make A Wish Foundation. Prizes include hampers, hair voucher, nail voucher, book vouchers, Pj sets, beauty sets and more.
TY Gifts for Temple Street

On Friday, some Transition and 5th students delivered to Temple St. Hospital, some handmade christmas cards and the first of two lots of toys, for children who will spend Christmas there. Well done to the TY students for picking and purchasing the toys and their teacher Mr Gunning, for supervising the purchases and card making. A big thanks also to Harry Keogh from Localise for co-ordinating the event, which was also done as part of a joint Localise/ Mount Carmel TY project, @temple_street @LocaliseYouth
