TY Law Programmes

TY Sinead Class took part in a Trinity Law Society Outreach Programme over three weeks in November. We wish to thank the Trinity Law students Fionn, Sarah and Francine for their excellent work. They provided our students with an engaging and insightful introduction to law. The classes were interactive and thought-provoking. They discussed the constitution, ground-breaking legal cases and current legal issues. The students had the opportunity to take part in a mock trial in the final week of the programme where some of our students enjoyed showing off their acting skills. Well done to all concerned. TY Nessa class also took part in a TY Street Law Programme, organised by the Law Society of Ireland, over a three week period. A big thanks to Cliodhna and Conor, for their excellent delivery of it. Students analysed the evidence in a murder case, while also discussing topics such as 'Consent' and Human Rights.
