After three days interviewing third years, the Transition Year team was delighted to offer places for the academic year 2018/2019. Bus leaving school at 8;45am Tuesday April 10th. Cost of trip €5 and returning to school at 4pm. Full school uniform and school jackets to be worn.

Irish Orals for 6th years

There will be a short Assembly for 6th years in the morning at 9am. Students should remain in the GPA when the 9am bell rings. We wish all our students sitting the Irish Orals this week the very best of luck.

Bon voyage to our students and teachers flying to the Italian Alps this morning. They return on Friday, hopefully all in one piece! Thanks to Mr Walsh who worked so hard to organize and make this trip happen!

Congratulation to Ms. Quinlan and the TY drama group who provided great entertainment on Thursday night to round off a busy and exciting term.
I would like to thank the five coordinators of the short courses for their time, dedication and inspiration in enlightening our students in various interesting subjects.... Mr. Yin Liang, from the UCD Confucius Institute , Ms.Mary Heaney of Toastmasters, Mr. Mark Dunne ,coaching course, Mr. Darren O'Mahoney, self defence and Mr. Stephen James Smith , Spoken Word. All five instructors were impressed with the enthusiasm of the students.

Congratulations to Thomás Dunne and his cast and crew on reaching the final of the
All Ireland TY Drama festival.... The play, titled "A Brother", has also been selected for the CBS schools Competition in Cork.
Well done to all the TY lads who made the cut for the trip to Zambia.
Through sheer determination and ambition , RTE legal affairs correspondent Orla O'Donnell has agreed to mentor Nebosa Kukic on work experience. Neb met Orla during his week long sojourn in The Law Society, and wasted no time in making useful connections..... In the true spirit of TY ! Well done Neb.
Best of luck to Cian MacGearailt who is taking part in the Voice of the Town competition in aid of the GAA.
