The new St. Jarlath's College football jersey is now available for sale for €50. Orders can be placed though the school app under the school shop/ school payment section on this app. You must also fill in the order form located at this link to record details of the jersey you require. goo.gl/forms/54ix6biy6GOA0gp83 . Orders cannot be processed if this form is not completed in full and payment submitted. Jerseys are unnumbered and are tight fit. Orders must be placed before May 9th.

The date for this year’s Ceolchoirm has been changed to Thurs. 15th March. It promises to be an very entertaining concert. Tickets for the annual Easter raffle are on sale now. With a huge focus on homelessness this year, the raffle is being split between Focus Ireland and the Music Dept. Ms. Connie Burke will be collecting from 1st years, TYs and Rang Iarlaith, Ms. Feerick will be collecting from 2nd and 3rd years and the 5th and 6th years will be collected during religion class. Your support for the raffle is greatly appreciated - please bring €2 to class in the next week to the appropriate teacher. The performers look forward to entertaining you next week as part of our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations.

A huge thank you to our Parent Association for raising €1500 yesterday at Della's Tea Dance. Thank you also to all the parents who purchased tickets. If there are any outstanding tickets or money please hand into the school office this week.
English Junior Cycle Assessment Task

On Thursday 26th and Friday 27th April all Third Year students will be completing their Junior Cycle English Assessment Task. This task is worth 10% of their overall result in English for the Junior Cycle and will take place during English class. It is important that all students are prepared for this task and are in class both days.
Youth Work Ireland Fun Run!

Youth work Ireland and Tuam Youth Council are organising a 3km Colour Fun run in the Palace Grounds on Thursday 26th April at 3pm. This fun run aims to support and promote positive mental health among young people in Tuam. More details on the work of Youth Work Ireland and the wonderful work they do in the area of Mental health is available at www.youthworkireland.ie Permission forms need to be filled out for this event and can be picked up the School office tomorrow. Please support this very worthwhile event.

Congratulations to First Year, Bartek Drapinski, pictured here recieving his Samsung Tablet from Shona O’ Dwyer, St. Jarlath’s Credit Union and TY manager for this term, Caimin Keavney. The tablet was raffled between all students who saved weekly with the School Credit Union during the second school term. Another raffle will take at the end of the school year for any student who has made a lodgement with the School Credit Union during the year. The prize is a €50 “One for all” voucher.
