Today our students involved in the certified Irish Angus Competition had a meeting with Mr Gerard Flynn Livestock Manager with Cork Marts. The students had plenty of questions for Gerard and he was a fountain of knowledge with expert answers to all their questions as they compile their project.

All TYs had a workshop today with Nurse Catherine Wallace she highlighted the importance of early detection and the importance of women carrying out a monthly breast check. All students received a card to hang in their bathrooms outlining how to carry out a breast check.
