This week TY students Brendan and John David are attending Physics Week in UCC Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. This amazing week includes: attending lectures, labs, talks from technical staff in the workshops, talks from research groups, work in the library and completion of an assigned project. Tuesday 18th to Friday 21st four of our transition year students have the opportunity to experience what it is like to train and work as a doctor in UHW. All sections of the programme are carried out by leading professionals in their respective areas with a wide variety of topics – including general practice, heart surgery, pathology, paediatrics, forensic medicine, transplants, obstetrics and gynaecology being covered during the programme.

At the entrance to St Monica’s Church, Ms McGrath and some TY students made a beautiful floral arrangement to St Valentine. Students have the opportunity to pause and say the prayer to St Valentine.
