Dear parents/guardians,
As you know, our Winter Assessments commence on Monday 14th November. Please encourage your child to develop healthy habits around nutrition, sleep, study and exercise over the next eight days.
Next week, students will finish at 12.27pm each day. This early finish should provide adequate afternoon time for your child to revise for upcoming assessments as well as getting some exercise/activity.
Unfortunately, we have received complaints from the public about the behaviour of some of our students in Harold’s Cross Park, Centra on Harold’s Cross Road and McDonalds in the Swan Centre.
Please speak to your child over this weekend about the values you promote at home and that we reinforce here in HCETSS.
Please also speak to them about your expectations of them when they are out and about with friends, particularly after the end of the school day.
If your child frequents any of these places, it would be important to speak to them about the importance of respecting, at all times, members of our local community and physical property.
We really appreciate your support with this.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend.
Kind regards,
Pádraig

Dear Parent/guardian,
Dear parents/guardians,
We are delighted to inform you that Harold’s Cross ETSS are putting together a one night extravaganza to showcase the talent of our wonderful students. Auditions will be taking place immediately after the midterm on Friday, 11th November from 1pm – 3pm.
We are calling for all singers, dancers, actors, comedians, magicians and any other talent!
The provisional date for the show will be Wednesday, 14th of December with a dress rehearsal the day prior, Tuesday, 13th of December. We are very lucky that our show will take place in the Assumption Junior National School in Walkinstown who have kindly provided us with their fabulous stage! More details to follow.
Students can register their interest on the sign-up sheets that will be displayed in their base classrooms for the remainder of this week. If you, or your child, have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Leonna, Amy or Holly at the emails provided below.
We promise it will be a fantastic night full of music, laughs and spot prizes. We look forward to seeing you there!
