Dear Parents/Guardians, 

we have been informed by Irish Water that the water supply for our area will not be restored until at least 8pm this evening. We currently have no drinking water, nor any water in students' or staff toilets. Unfortunately, as a result we will need to close the school at 10.30am today.

All students have permission to leave school at breaktime and we will have supervision on-site for students who need to be collected. Students will be provided with work for periods 3, 4, 5 and 6 to complete via Schoolwise. At this moment in time, we plan to open tomorrow as normal.

Dear Parents/Guardians, 

 As a result of a burst water main, there is no water supply to the school this morning. According to Irish Water this a regional problem affecting the areas of Rathdown, Cranagh, Terenure, Milltown, Rathgar, Ranelagh, Rathmines & Harold's Cross. 

We are currently in contact with Irish Water trying to establish when the water might be back on however if the problem persists the school's Board of Management may need to close the school early today. 

We will be in contact with you as soon as we know more.

Third Year Parent Teacher Meeting

Date: 20th October 2022

Time: 4:15pm to 6:45pm

Dear parents/ guardians,

Our third year parent teacher meetings will take place this Thursday in person at the school from 4.15pm to 6.45pm. During the meetings, teachers will be situated in a number of rooms around the school as follows:

Room 1: Amy, Laura, John

Room 2: Rowie, Leonna, Daniel 

Room 4: Ciara, Mick, Claudia 

Room 6: Deirdre, Gerard, Lorraine

Room 7: Gráinne, Evan, Holly

Support Centre: Nikki

Room 12: Niamh

Prior to attending the meeting, please speak with your child about which teachers they have for each subject. You will also find these details on Vsware if you click on the timetable button.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by members of the student council who will assist you in finding the rooms and the teachers who you wish to speak to. 

As is the case with secondary school parent teacher meetings, it may not be possible to speak to all of your child’s teachers on the night and we would encourage you to prioritise the teachers who you particularly wish to speak to.

Each meeting will last for 6 minutes and the meetings will finish at 6.45pm sharp. We do expect there to be some queuing therefore the earlier you arrive the more teachers you will have the opportunity to talk to.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday.
