Dear Parents/Guardians,
I am delighted to be joining Colaíste Muire as Acting Principal. I look forward to meeting all members of our school community during this final term and in our next academic year.
I am very proud to be leading a vibrant and positive school community with an extensive range of accomplishments. Colaíste Muire will continue to foster the personal development and pastoral care of each individual while providing a balance between academic, technical and artistic achievement. We will continue to provide a caring and supportive learning environment for all students.
I would like to take this opportunity, as I start my new role to wish all our school community a productive and successful final term, especially those students and staff who are in the final preparations for their exams.
I hope that you are getting to enjoy the glorious weather that we have been having.
Warmest Wishes,
Dayna Byrne
Acting Principal
Three members of our student council represented the school at the CEIST Student Leadership Conference in DCU St Patricks Campus Drumcondra on 19th April. 107 schools along with a number of speakers attended the event and it was great to get an opportunity to see how the student voice is being listened to and how students are engaging in community and school initiatives. The theme of the conference was Making a Difference. A very enjoyable day was had by all.
