The U16 Gaelic Team lost a high scoring game in poor conditions in Rathcoole against Holy Faith CS. There were great performances from Noah McLaren, Benny Kazadi, Paul Kobus and David Toure. Final score Holy Family 6-7 Marian 3-5.

Congratulations to our U16 rugby team who had a brilliant win today against St Patrick’s Cathedral Grammar on a scoreline of 46-22. There were great tries from Wojtek Mocko, Brayan Makome and captain Kian Harrison. Well done to the team and coaches Mr. McGinty and Mr. Robson.
Staff vs. 6th Yr. Soccer

The staff v 6th yr. annual soccer match was played following a minute’s silence for recently deceased Bro. Mel. The staff ran out 6-5 winners in an absolute thriller. Man of the match was Patrick Whelan and Mr Brien was the hat-trick hero for the staff team. Well done to all involved!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brother Mel who was a longtime member of the Marian College Community. His removal will take place on Friday evening with funeral mass on Saturday morning in Star of the Sea Church. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Congratulations to the cast and crew involved in the final performance of ‘Oliver’ last night. Another full house was treated to an outstanding performance form the Marian boys and Muckross girls. The level of talent on display was exceptional.

Well done to 101 for partaking in the quiz this year. Congratulations to Finn Corrigan and Alex Montgomery for winning first prize with their team from other schools. Well done also to Taspir Amin who came 2nd with his team. A great day attended by the Community Gardaí, SCP, teachers and HSLO staff from surrounding schools.
