Congratulations to Kenji Dasal, Liam Mendes and Pawel Konol who represented Marian College for the first time at this year's Coolest Projects in the RDS. The Coolest Projects is an annual competition where students present their I.T creation whether it be a website, app, video game or robotics. The event attracts hundreds of competitors from across the country and the rest of the world. Liam and Pawel won 'Best App' for their Infinity app, a messaging app available to download from itunes and google play. And Kenji Dasal won 'Best Scratch Game' for his random games creations. This is a huge achievement for the pupils and a proud moment for Marian College. The Marian College/Twitter Coderdojo program kicks off again in September and anyone who is interested please register with Mr. Lindsay.

Congratulations to this years Twitter Coderdojo who presented their final projects and received their certificates after a year of learning to code. Pupils have made huge progress over the year. Special mention goes to Kenji Dasal, Liam Mendes and Pawel Konkol who will represent the school this Saturday in the RDS at Coolest Project. Entry is free to the exhibition if any pupils wish to attend.

Marian College's Twitter coderdojo wrapped up today ahead of Wednesday's presentations. Since September the group have been learning to code and have built apps, websites and games. Working with some of Dublin's leading I.T. firms, they have developed valuable skills and know how. Two of the group will now go and represent the school at this years "Coolest Projects" expo in the RDS on May 26th. Best of luck!

The staff v student soccer match was played in-front of a packed house this afternoon. Despite the teachers dominating the play the game finished in a 0-0 draw. Well done to all involved on a great display.
