TY Parents Information Meeting
There will be a meeting for the parents of TY students on Tuesday 12th September at 7.00pm.
The purpose of this meeting will be to outline the plan for the girls’ year ahead and how parents can best assist their daughters to achieve their full potential.
This meeting will take place in Rosary Hall and will end by 8pm.
Good luck to Claire Leuridan-Slevin, 5th year, who has been selected to represent Galway City Comhairle na nÓg to make a presentation to the Corporate Policy group of Galway City Council tomorrow.
Well done and we all hope that the presentation goes very well.
Our Green Schools Committee are returning to action on Monday!
New and existing members are welcome.
The first meeting of the year will take place in room 16 at 1pm and students should bring their lunches.
The committee would like to remind all students to use their reusable water bottles and our filtered and cooled water dispensers in school.
Check out page 14 of today's City Tribune for a lovely article written by Denise McNamara on the success of our class of '23
We hope that the week has gone well for the girls and that everything is going to plan.
We are very proud of our girls who received their Leaving Certificate results on Friday.
Some students came to school to share their success and will appear in this week’s papers in some photos, so be sure to look out for them!
A special mention must go to Lucy Garrett who achieved eight H1 grades and was one of very few people in the country to do so.
We wish the girls the best in the coming days as the CAO process begins.
We are looking forward to welcoming our TY girls back to school tomorrow.
