Great to hear that Karen Carey has been selected to represent Ireland at the Home International Regatta in London this
weekend - facing crews from England, Scotland & Wales. The Home International Regatta runs annually and offers a great first exposure to the international scene. From what I have seen over the years, athletes who make selection for this event go on to achieve great results in the years to come both domestically and internationally. Best of luck Karen from all in BCS.
And well done also to Stephen Quinn who trialled for a spot in the men's team but narrowly missed out on selection in what is a very competitive field. Stephen has had a strong domestic season, with a win at Dublin Metropolitan Regatta, and recently making the final in the National Championship of the club single sculls.
