TY B finished their masonry module in which they got to cut some stones, carve some Kilkenny limestone and build some walls. Well done!
Green Schools Trip

The third year Green Schools Committee went to Cork city to meet with The Clean Coast Officer and Green Schools. This was part of our water ambassador training. We got an introduction to water quality and testing and received our water ambassador resources. We completed a clean up at the river and it’s surroundings. It was a great team building exercise and gave us new ideas as we move forward in our Water theme.

Today, Religion classes marked St. Brigid’s Day by learning all about the Patron Saint of Ireland and how to make St. Brigid’s crosses. As it marked the first day of spring, they made their crosses outside. Thank you to the TYs who came to show the First Years how to make them.

Members of our equestrian team were in action over the weekend in Tipperary and Waterford. Congratulations to Fiona Mulcahy who got through to the open jump off having a fantastic clear. Over the coming weeks training days will be taking place and the remaining events before the final.
