Last week, the Home Economics Department hosted Healthy Lifestyle Week in the school, promoting nutritious eating and balanced living. They prepared a variety of delicious salads, with a special thanks to Newbridge Silverware for generously sponsoring some of the delicious salads. Some of the tasty options from Newbridge Silverware and the Home Economics department included Greek Salad, Pasta Salad, Watermelon Salad, Asian Slaw, Pepper Noodle Salad, and Beetroot & Feta Salad.
Once again, the Home Economics Department and the Holy Family Secondary School would like to extend their gratitude to Newbridge Silverware and The Silver Restaurant for their support in helping to promote healthy eating within the school.

The 6th Year Geography students went to Kippure Co.Wicklow yesterday to undertake their field investigation which is part of their Leaving Certificate final exam. The students carried out varied experiments on a tributary of the River Liffey. It was a very enjoyable experience and a chance to do some practical work outdoors.The students were complimented on their excellent engagement.
