TY Future Leaders - Primary School Blitz

Our TY Future Leaders are running a Primary School Blitz next Thursday, the 20th of March from 10am to 2pm. We are welcoming Lismore, Tallow, Cappoquin, Ballynoe, Whitechurch, Villierstown, Knockanore and Curraglass Primary Schools to BCS. The event will take place on the school pitch, astroturf pitches and the hall

Buffalo Farm Trip

6th year Agriculture and Horticulture and 5th Agricultural Science students enjoyed a trip to the Macroom Buffalo Farm. They got to experience the difference between Buffalo milk production and traditional dairy production in Ireland. Students also got to observe the cheese production process and sampled the various products produced on the farm.

Our LCA Students will have the opportunity of experiencing an Exchange this May with the students from Wilherring College in Linz , Austria. Thanks to Maria O’ Brien and Danielle Murphy for establishing this programme at BCS

Belong To are the national organisation supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) young people in Ireland. They work with LGBTQ+ young people to create a society where they are equal, safe and thriving.

Right now our school is working with Belong To to make sure we have a safe and welcoming place for all students. The LGBTQ+ Quality Mark is designed to help us create a safe and supportive environment that is fully inclusive of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) young people.

This survey is of particular relevance to parents/guardians of young people in BCS, regardless of their sexuality or gender identity. Your feedback on your experiences within BCS will help us ensure we can offer the best support to meet the needs of your child and their classmates.
