An interactive workshop took place today for Junior Cycle students, which focused on the topic of teenage bullying. Michael O' Sullivan from "Humour Fit" provided a lively presentation in which he used role play between the bully and the victim. From the start the students' attention was captured as they engaged with the story. The students participated enthusiastically and asked many excellent questions at the end of the workshop. Many thanks to Ms. Corbett, Anti-Bullying Officer, for organising the event.

Could all app users please ensure that your profile is correct. Parents should make sure that the correct details are entered for their son. For example, is he recorded in the correct year group? If not absentee or permission slips will not go to the correct Year Head. Details are easily changed in the Edit Profile section of the menu on the top left corner of the app.

In the words of Sr. Agnes Curley....
Tuam Golf Club members can be truly proud of the boys who took part in the All Ireland Irish Boys Inter-Club Championship on Sunday last in Tramore. Competing in the competition were Tullamore, Ballybunnion, Carrickfergus and Tuam. Our boys and their Captain Donal Cunningham did us proud and in fact on completion of the game they were just 5 points short of winning, but like Rory Mc Elroy and Tiger Woods in the Ryder Cup, luck was not on their side. On approaching the 15th hole excitement was palpable as Tuam were the favourites to win. However with 3 holes to play we finished 3rd. Having played in an all Ireland was a bonus for the boys anyway and they can be proud of themselves .They were as good as any team there and played good golf .Playing Carrickfergus our Team were, Rory Donnellan, Ciaran McGrath, Adam Carton, Oisin Roche and Enna Costello. From all the Club, congrats Donal and boys we are truly very proud of you. You are the first from this competition to have reached an All Ireland final.
A very special thank you to Tp Niland, Professional, who gave so much time to these wonderful bunch of lads.
