Update re Lockers and Activities
Created : 07 Sep 2021, 2:09 PM

Students have been reminded that at the moment there is no access to lockers. We have been restoring various services and activities on a phased basis. Last week saw the return of all classes and the introduction of the pod layout of classes in place of live-streaming to the hall. This week sees the resumption of supervised study for 3rd, 5th and 6th years together with the some outside after school activities. Next week we will introduce access to lockers for students during the course of the week as well as indoor after school activities. Students have been asked to limit the amount of books they bring to school and many have used downloaded books on their devices. Teachers have also been asked to limit the necessity of using books in class. Hopefully the gradual approach being taken and the increase in the number of students being vaccinated, will ensure that students will have access to the usual services and activities in a safe and sustainable way. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

She will be doing a short motorcade tour around Clontarf on Wednesday 8th September at 7pm. We want to make sure she gets the reception she deserves and hope that as many of our students, parents and staff can show their appreciation. Details of route on attached PDF.

I would like to advise parents of the following: if your daughter has been vaccinated, she may come to school even if identified as a close contact of a positive case unless she herself has Covid symptoms. If your daughter has not been vaccinated, she should not be sent to school if she has tested positive for Covid, is exhibiting Covid symptoms, has been identified as a close contact of a positive case or if a member of the household has shown symptoms and is awaiting the results of a test. HSE will provide up to date advise
