Darkness into Light

Darkness Into Light 2021, will take place at sunrise on the morning of 8th May. (05.37am) This year, we cannot gather together at our usual Darkness Into Light venues, but we can don our yellow t-shirts and take part in the event at a time and in a location that suits us. This year you can choose to sign up for a special sunrise event - walk, swim, bike or simply share your sunrise moment - or you can take part in the Darkness Into Light Challenge – when you select this option, the sign-up fee is being waived for anyone who pledges to fundraise €150. Get creative with your activity, and remember that no matter how you choose to take part this year, you’ll be giving the gift of hope to those in your community in suicidal crisis, or self-harming. www.darknessintolight.ie/about

This is extremely important to ensure the safe and sustainable opening of the school and to ensure the safety of our staff, students and their family members. Thank you
Important notice to parents re permission to leave notes
Created : 28 Apr 2021, 1:57 PM

We would like to remind parents that notes for permission to leave school early must be submitted before 8:45am on the day your daughter has to leave school early, notes can also be submitted a number of days in advance. If a situation arises that your daughter has to leave school and a note has not been submitted by 8:45am that morning, we would ask that parents call the school office and inform us. If your daughter is unwell during the day, she should go to the office or to her year head and we will call home, students should not contact parents themselves. We appreciate your support with this.
