TY students attended the award winning stage adaptation of the acclaimed novel "Asking for It" in the Gaiety Theatre on Wednesday 23rd October. The powerful performance was emotionally charged and had a strong impact on the students who went away with plenty of food for thought and material for discussion. The students were accompanied by Ms. O'Mahony and Mr. Maxwell.

The TY students kicked off their after school activities for the 1st Years this evening. The activities included basketball, guitar lessons and coding!! Activities will continue for the next 9 weeks on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. We are looking forward to badminton, creative drawing and Soccer!

Well done to our TY class who attended Trim Castle Hotel today. They took part in an Enterprise Idea Generation Day. Many of our students confidently spoke to a group of nearly 300 students from around the County.
TY Carlingford Bonding Trip

On Wednesday, 4th September, the Transition Year students had an overnight bonding trip to Carlingford Adventure Centre. What followed was a day and a half of fun, action, adventure, bonding and learning together. They had a game of laser tag, kayaking and numerous other team challenges which tested each of them beyond their comfort zone. The students got fully involved in all of the activities and were complimented by the Carlingford organisers for their good humour and spirit of adventure.

Other School Activities
The Parents Association will hold their AGM tonight, Tuesday 22nd October at 20:00, in the school. Parents of pupils in all years are encouraged to attend and get involved. The role of the Parents Association is to work together for the best possible education for their children.

The Senior Soccer Team had a tremendous victory over Beaufort College today. Our boys scored four goals in an outstanding performance against a good team. The team is coached by Mr. Williams.
