Dear parents/guardians,
The countdown is on! Our 2nd and 3rd year music Let's Hear It For The 80's will be taking place from the 23rd - 25th of November in the Assumption Junior National School, Walkinstown.
Rehearsals are currently taking place every Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm - 5pm, with the exception of some rehearsals finishing slightly earlier. It is essential that all cast attend every rehearsal and inform Leonna or Amy of any absences.
You can help your child prepare for our production by running lines with them, encouraging them to practice their dance routines, and play the 80's playlist around the house!
If you would like to support our musical production, please contact Leonna or Amy at the contact details below to see how you can help us. We are always looking for 80's inspired props and costumes. Alternatively, you can donate to our production at the GoFundMe link found here:
Any and all support is greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much in advance and we look forward to seeing you!
Leonna & Amy

Parents should understand that the operation of a school Board of Management is a function of the 1998 Education Act which can be found here.
As such, parent nominees are not there to ‘represent parents’ but to act in the best interests of the school as a whole.
We are extremely grateful to Helen Blake and Patrick Brennan for their exemplary work as parent nominees on the Board of Management since October 2020.
Kind regards,
Padraig Conaty
Principal/Secretary to the Board of Management

Dear parent/guardian,
We are delighted to update you around set-up process and procedure for Food Village, our new school meal service.
Action Required:
To ensure a smooth transition for all students and parents please see link for our New Menu which contains specific information for our school, including our unique registration code.
Please ensure that your child has the app downloaded and their account registered prior to their onboarding day this Wednesday 20th September.
For our onboarding day, Wednesday 20th September please ensure that if your child has a mobile phone that they have it with them that day in school.
Tutors will speak to your child regarding when they can access their phone from their locker during this school day.
Phones should be locked away in your child's locker between 8.05am and 8.20am as per our usual school rules.
This is important so that your child can set up their key tag correctly.
If you child does not have a mobile phone but wishes to avail of this service, parents need to download the app and place orders via the parent app.
Our first day of full service will commence on: Tuesday 26th September.
We expect that there may be some small teething problems in our initial few weeks but we are confident that we can iron these out as they arise.
Please contact your child's tutor if you have any questions/queries post set-up.
Thank you for your continued support.
Kind regards,
School Office
