Taylor's Swimmers' Success in Connacht Championship

Congratulations to all our swimmers who performed so well in the Connacht Championship last weekend. The Taylor's U14 team came 1st in both the 200m Freestyle Relay and the 200m Medley Relay. The 15-16 team came 4th in the 200m Freestyle Relay. The individual swimmers also performed excellently on the day. Well done to everyone involved.

This year's Lunchtime Club will take place every Monday and Tuesday in Room 11 starting on Monday 11th September. All students are welcome to come along and you can bring your lunch.

The Minister for Education has instructed all schools to close on Tuesday 17th October 2017 on health and safety grounds. For this reason Dominican College will remain closed on that day.

Business Summer School

GMIT School of Business Summer Camp will be running from July Monday 17th – Friday 21st, from 10am – 4pm. Participation is free and lunch /refreshments are provided each day. If any students aged 12 to 17 years are interested in entrepreneurial thinking and design skills, please contact kevin.mcdonagh@gmit.ie (tel. 091 742340) or ivan.mcphillips@gmit.ie (tel. 091 742608). Places are limited and the closing date for applications is Friday 10 July, 5pm.

Reminder: The second-hand book and uniform sale will take place on Friday 23rd June from 2pm-4pm in Rosary Hall. Students/parents seeking to sell books and uniforms should arrive early to set up. If you are selling textbooks, please refer to the current book lists on this app and on the school website to ensure that those books will still be in use next year.

The 2017/18 booklists are now available on this app and on the school website. Paper copies will be posted with the summer reports over the coming weeks. Applications for book grants must be returned by Wednesday 21st June 2017. Application forms are available on this app, the website and from the school office. The secondhand book and uniform sale will take place in Rosary Hall from 2-4pm on Friday 23rd June.
