Ba mhór an ceiliúradh a bhí againn sa scoil do Sheachtain na Gaeilge. Bhain daltaí agus múinteoirí na scoile taitneamh agus tairbhe as tráth na gCeist boird, cluichí teanga, turas go Gael Taca chun bualadh leis an údár cáiliúil, Gearóid Cheaist Ó Catháin, podchraoltaí a chruthú agus ranganna amhránaíochta. Beatha teanga í a labhairt. A great celebration was had by all for Seachtain na Gaeilge. Both students and teachers enjoyed Irish quizzes, games, competitions, creating podcasts, Irish songs and a talk from the famous author, Gearóid Cheaist Ó Catháin. The life of a language is in living it. Cluichí Teanga Leo Goulding agus David Radley a bhuaigh an chéad áit sna Cluichí Teanga a bhí ar siúl ag am lóin i rith Sheachtain na Gaeilge. We wish to congratulate Harry Buckley, 6th Yr, on his ongoing development in athletics. Harry is current All Ireland U19 Long Jump Champion having taken Gold in the National Championship in Tullamore earlier this year.
Nationals Schools Swimming Championship

The CBC Cork Swim team enjoyed great success at the recent national schools swimming championships held in the national aquatic centre in Dublin on Sunday the 20th of March. The Junior Relay of Pierce and Phelim Hanley, Darren O’Connell and Conal Gillard won Gold in the Junior freestyle really and silver in the medley relay. The Senior team of Conor Foley, Charlie Cassidy, Richard McSweeney and James Ryan claimed Gold in both the IM and Freestyle Relays. 5 swimmers from CBC continued on to represent Munster in the Interprovincial championships held straight after. Pierce and Phelim Hanley (Junior) from Blackrock Swimming Club. Sean Bugler (intermediate) from Sundays well swimming club. Conor Foley and Charlie Cassidy (Senior) from Dolphin. All swimmers enjoyed great individual and relay performances including a nail biting finish by Sean Bugler on the anchor leg on the freestyle relay helped munster to see off a strong finish by ulster beating them by .04 of a second!!
