We wish all our 3rd and 6th year students the best of luck tomorrow as they begin their exams. Be in plenty of time. Keep calm, read the questions a few times, jot down ideas as they come to mind and re-read the question. Deep breaths help too. Be sure when you are studying before each exam that you are familiar with the layout and what questions you should be doing. If finished early - read it all from the beginning along with the questions - it is then you may realise there was a twist on the question you hadn't seen before. NEVER CROSS A THING OUT unless you are sure its completely wrong - the examiner MUST mark every word. It will do you no harm to have extra words or sentences. Do all your doodling and jotting IN the exam booklet - the examiner MUST put a mark on each page of the booklet and your doodling must be included in marks if they are relevant.
Tomorrow will be the hardest because it's the first morning. You will survive believe me.. Good luck all.

All current first years will have to return their English, Maths and Irish text books along with the French or Spanish texts if they did those subjects. They will be collected by Mr Mulligan and Mr Thompson tomorrow after their exam ends at 10.30. When a parent returns the €100 fee to the office for the second year replacements of these subject texts their sons will receive them in August on return to school. No texts will be given to students in August without payment. This money should be paid to the school office by Thursday 13th June. This covers a Maths,English Irish and the language text if required for their second year courses.
A reminder that rental books should be returned in good order as they will be reused again by other students. Your cooperation is appreciated. MM
