Archived : 19 Jul 2019, 12:00 AM
As we approach the end of another school year we hope that your son has benefited from all our school activities both academic and extra – curricular. We thank you the parents for your interest, support and co-operation during the year. That interest is of great importance to us if we are to help your son to attain his full potential.
As we are now in the last term of the current school year I would like to draw your attention to the following. The annual re-admission form is in Permission forms section of the App. and must be Submitted on or before Wednesday May 29th 2019.
There is a voluntary contribution of €92 per student / €123 per family for extras provided by the school. We depend on this contribution to fund all extra curricular activities (sports and educational trips), provision of buses, photocopying, postage, texting home if students absent, lunchtime activities etc. The provision of sport in the school alone costs us in the region of €20,000 each year. Twenty four hour insurance cover previously paid for by parents will also be provided upon receipt of this fee. Without this contribution, many of the above facilities cannot be provided. I would be grateful if this contribution could be made together with completion of the re-application form.
Please make payment through the shop section of the App. .
Yours sincerely,
Maura Murphy
Principal

5th year options/languages

All 5th years for September 2019 should have received their Options in the post by today. The 3 option subjects are just that - options. The language you chose or the history you chose to do instead of language are completely separate. If you wrote French or Spanish as your choice on the pink sheet - then you will get that, If you chose not to do a language, then you were made aware that you must take up History at the same time your year group are all doing languages. These will be on your timetable in August when you return. You do not need to ring up about it. I hope this clarifies all for you. Thank you. MM
