Dear parents, guardians and carers of all year groups,

We are delighted to provide a rugby clinic this Thursday, May 9th, for all students. We have partnered with Stillorgan/Rathfarnham RFC and they will be providing some excellent coaches for the clinic. The aim is to allow students to get a taster of the game in a safe and fun environment.

It will be a non-contact session where we will focus on the key skills of rugby. Based on student interest, we would look to create rugby teams for girls and boys going into September.

The clinic will run from 3:45pm to 5:15pm this Thursday, May 9th. Students are to meet in the PE hall after school with appropriate sports clothing and footwear for the astro.

Dear parents, guardians and carers,

We are delighted to announce the imminent publication of THE SCRIPTORIUM, an anthology of student writing by students throughout our school.

The Scriptorium will be going to print on April 19th and we are taking pre-orders over the course of the next week from parents and students who would like to support this project by buying a copy of our book. The Scriptorium costs €12 and can be ordered by making payment for the book on the school app shop.

The deadline for ordering a copy is Thursday April 18th 2024. In order to allow time for printing, we are bound to this deadline and it is important to note that we only print as many copies as we have orders for - so orders must be placed in advance of publication.

The Scriptorium is a fully published and produced collection of the students’ creative endeavours – short stories, poetry, journalism, essays, art. Official copies of the book get submitted to the National Library for archiving. The publication of The Scriptorium is the work of the TY English class. The TYs are responsible for writing, editing, layout and production, costing, promoting and selling THE SCRIPTORIUM and it would not have been possible without their hard work.

We look forward to welcoming back our students at the later time of 10:50am tomorrow due to staff meeting taking place. We also look forward to welcoming 22 students from Marchena, Seville who will be staying with us for the week as part of our TY Erasmus programme. 

Students should have their devices fully charged, journal and school materials packed and be ready to learn.

Dear parents, guardians and carers,

It’s not long now until our School Musical ‘Back to the 80s’ on March 21st and 22nd. The students are putting in a lot of effort and it promises to be a spectacular event.

On each night of the musical the PSA will run a raffle. Tickets can be purchased via the app or on the night of the musical. If you are unable to attend we would appreciate your support by purchasing a raffle ticket for either night. Please drop any donations for the raffle into the office, or collection can be arranged if necessary.
