Dear parents, guardians and carers,
Please note that school is closed for all students on Monday, January 22nd due to Oide staff training day.

Dear parents, guardians and carers,
The school has become aware of some assaults and robberies on teenage boys which have taken place in the Ballinteer/ Rathfarnham areas over the last week. These have taken place during the day and at night. Dundrum and Rathfarnham Gardaí are investigating. While we do not wish to cause alarm, we do suggest that boys stay vigilant and careful, and that they report any suspicious activity to the Gardaí.
Kind regards

Dear parents, guardians and carers of Junior Cycle students,
Please find attached a Junior Cycle Information Note that the Department of Education has asked us to share with you.
The purpose of this note is to provide some useful information regarding the changes made to the Junior Cycle Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting since the implementation of the Framework for Junior Cycle.
Further information on the Junior Cycle can be found on their website here.
Kind regards,
Goatstown ETSS
Dear parents, guardians and carers,
Could we remind all students who cycle to school to please bring a lock for their bike.
We are an open campus and if a bike is not locked it can be an easy target for an opportunistic passer by.
We appreciate your support.
Kind regards,
Goatstown ETSS
Dear parents, guardians and carers,
A reminder that our Winter Concert will take place in the school hall at 7pm this evening and all are welcome to attend.
The concert will showcase performances by students across all year groups, featuring a delightful selection of winter-themed songs, poems, and readings.
It promises to be a heartwarming celebration of talent and the spirit of the season.
Kind regards
Goatstown ETSS
Dear parents, guardians, carers,
As the school term gets underway, I would like to remind parents that students may not use mobile phones at any time on the school grounds. This includes using a phone to access Food Village orders.
Should a call home be essential, then students should approach Clodagh in the office.
I would also like to remind everyone that smoking/vaping in school or outside the school is illegal and forbidden. A one-day suspension will normally be the sanction imposed on students who are found smoking/vaping in or near the school.
Kind regards
Jonathan Browner, principal
