We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a €5000 grant. The fund is administered by Community Foundation Ireland which as part of its mission of Equality For All in Thriving Communities has been empowering local groups, researchers and advocates to take action on climate and nature since 2000.
We send our best wishes to our Head Boy Dylan Edwards, who lines out at midfield tonight for the Cavan U-20's, in their first round of the championship against Monaghan in Inniskeen at 7:30. Good luck Dylan and Cavan Gaa.

They say 3rd time lucky! We are wishing this to be true as the U15 Team take on Lismore College in The Nagle Cup Final in Garvaghy on Thursday at 11.30am.
We are entering the last week of our Attendance Challenge.
Well done to all those making an extra effort to be in school every day and congratulations to all who have won raffle prizes so far. Lets keep the effort up for the last 5 days of the challenge.
While there are signs of improvement, there is plenty of data so far providing food for thought for teachers, parents and students. Improving attendance requires a collective effort.
After 13 Days, 375 Absences have been recorded. On average, 29 students are absent each day. That is close to 10%.
Please see attached a quick breakdown of the reasons for these absences as well as the Team Scores as we head into the final week. More updates to follow during the week.
Again, any parent experiencing challenges in getting their child to attend school is invited to make contact with the school to see the Home School Community Liaison Officer - Ms. Mc Eneaney. Early intervention is key.
Warm Regards
Mary Mc Eneaney
We had our second Attendance Challenge Spot Raffle this morning for 3 more Veho Smart Touch Wireless Earphones.
Head Boy, Dylan Edwards presented the prize to Finn Magahran (1st Year). Deputy Head Boy Aaron Crowe presented the prize to Charlie Edwards (TY) and HSCLO, Ms. Mc Eneaney presented the prize to Holiness Olusanya (1st Year)
We are seeing a significant reduction in Unexplained Absences throughout this Attendance Challenge and with 1 week left, the Ten Teams continue to compete for the top prizes, including a trip to the Cinema for all members of the winning team. There will be one more spot raffle next week before the winning team is announced.
