There were many events and activities organised for Seachtain na Gaeilge le comortas póstaeir, tráth na gceist, ceolchoirm, toraíocht taisce, maidin chaife agus lá glas. Well done to everyone involved and thank you to the all the teachers who organised and coordinated all these activities for our students.
Camán 4 Fun Camogie Programme

Thanks to Mayo ATU’s education officer for coming to the school on Thursday to present new camogie equipment to the school. Our school was selected to received this funding as part of the Camán 4 fun programme for girls in sport. There will be a 6 week training programme followed by a camogie blitz.
First Year: Marble Arch Caves trip Tuesday

As part of a cross border initiative our first year students will have the opportunity to take part in the Aspire Programme. This will involve a series of events in cooperation with Saint Aidan's Derrlyn, promoting interaction among young people across the border counties.
The first of these is a trip to the Marble Arch Caves next Tuesday 25th March. All students are requested to wear their PE uniforms and bring a packed lunch and drink. The students will leave at 9.45 and return for school buses at the end of the school day. This trip is fully funded so there is no cost to the students.
Attendance is important for the completion of this exciting project where the students will have a host of events and activities to enjoy

All 2nd and 5th Year Students have been given a copy of the Parent Teacher Meeting Layout - clearly showing the location of each teacher. Please take a moment to sit with your child and ask them to highlight the teachers you need to see on Monday.
Take this with you on Monday as it will assist you in locating who you need to see.

I am organising an Easter Craft Night for parents on Tuesday 1st April @ 7.30pm.
Taragh from the Craft Cabin in Ballyconnell will be coming to teach participants a new craft skill to make a household decoration for the Easter season. Refreshments will be served. There are 20 places available.

Congratulations to Sadhbh McGoldrick (1A) and Mitilda Lamacchia (5A) who were the winners in our first Attendance Spot Raffle. They received their prizes from Head Girl, Grace Devine and Deputy Head Girl, Niamh Maguire. They both won VEHO Rhox True Wireless Earphones.
