Attendance Notes

Going forward all Attendance Notes (Absence, Late and Permission To Leave) must be sent through your Dominican College App before 08:30 am.  This will allow school staff time to process your form(s).  Forms submitted after 08:30 may not be processed until the following day. 
 
Students are to present themselves at the school office where a member of staff will confirm their permissions and sign them out. 
 
Please see attached PDF on how to use the app to submit attendance information about your student(s).

Christmas Carol Service

We look forward to celebrating our annual Christmas carol service in the school tomorrow morning. This is always a special occasion and a fitting start to the Christmas holidays.

Classes will finish after the carol service which will conclude around 12:15pm.
Halloween Costumes

A huge well done to all our students who came dressed in fantastic Halloween costumes! The creativity and effort were truly impressive.

Congratulations to those who won prizes for their costumes – you really brought the Halloween spirit to life! 

The best costume in each year group won copies of best-selling author and past-pupil Catherine Doyle's Twin Crowns trilogy.

1st year Table Quiz in aid of the Irish Beast Cancer Society

Dear first year guardians and pupils, 4/3 will be hosting a table quiz for all first year students on Friday 25th of October in aid of Irish Breast Cancer Society, to participate in this table quiz it will cost €2 per student. We will be collecting the money in class tomorrow, Friday the 18th. We would really appreciate if all the money could be brought in by each student for collection tomorrow. Thank you, 4/3

IMPORTANT - HSE Vaccinations Deadline

For any parent/guardian who has not yet returned the vaccination consent documentation (form and envelope) to the office please do so tomorrow, Wednesday 11th December as the HSE will be collecting the forms first thing on Thursday morning.
Reminder: ISCI Student Card Application Deadline - Tomorrow Thursday 12th December

Application forms for the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) were given out in school earlier this week.

These need to be completed and brought to school tomorrow, Thursday 12th December along with the €15 fee.

A rep. from ISIC will be in the school tomorrow to take photos, application forms and money from people for the cards.

NOTE: If you got a card last year it will be out of date in January so you need to renew.
