Applications for ISIC Student Identity Cards

Application forms for the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) are being given out in the school today and tomorrow.

These need to be completed and brought to school on Thursday 12th December along with the €15 fee.

A rep. from ISIC will be in the school on Thursday to take photos, application forms and money from people for the cards.

NOTE: If you got a card last year it will be out of date in January so you need to renew.

The HSE and the Western Region Drug & Alcohol Taskforce are running a webinar for parents of 11-17 years olds in Galway City.

The webinar is for parents who are concerned about how you can stop your child from drinking too early?

The upcoming short webinar on Underage Drinking, with lots of insights on how you can make a big difference will take place online on Thursday Dec 12th @ 7.30pm

The fourth instalment of the Barnardos Plugged In Switched Off webinar series on topics of online safety will take place on Tuesday, 15th October from 10.00-11.30am

This year’s webinar, Exploring AI with Children and Young People will feature input from young people, AI experts, industry, teachers, school leaders and the Department of Education. Details of the event and registration is available here:

Junior Cycle Results

A big congratulations to all our of students in TY and 5th Year who received their Junior Cycle results today.

The results were fantastic and a fair reflection of the fabulous girls in the school and all their hard work, commitment, and ability. 

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Well done!

A huge thank you and congratulations to Ms. Steede-Duffy and her talented TY students for their hard work and creativity in designing and landscaping a beautiful sensory garden on our school grounds. Their efforts are a perfect complement to our new outdoor classrooms!

The application window for incoming 1st Years (September 2025) is now open and will close at 4:30 pm on Tuesday 22nd October.  Applications may be submitted online at this link.
 
Parking Fines & Student Safety

Traffic wardens will patrol the road outside the school from Tuesday 1st October and issue fines to people parked illegally on the double yellow lines.

For the sake of our students' safety, please do not park on the double yellow lines, and ensure you drive with extra caution at all times, as there are children from both schools in the vicinity and we want to ensure their safety above all else.
