The TY students are back behind the mic and we have a star-studded line up on this episode with a literary theme at the heart.
This episode is inspired by a previous Pres TY project called Poetry for the blind, inspired in turn by Liam Lynch, a Kerry man whose passion for poetry ignited after he slowly went blind as a young man.
And what better way to celebrate the creative word than to hear from some very famous voices reading their favourite poems.
Film star Cillian Murphy, comedian Mario Rosenstock & Cork hurling legend Donal Óg Cusack contribute, not to forget our own PBC teachers, Kayleigh Whelan, Dave O Riordan and Brian McMahon who share some of their own favourite and original poems.
We also have an in-depth interview with Whitbread prize winning poet, Oxford Professor & PBC alumnus Bernard O'Donoghue focusing on his school days in Pres in the early 1960s and on what led him to a life in the literary world.
From literary heavyweights to lifting heavyweights- Thomas McCarthy, world no. 1 power lifter at u-23 level and current Leaving Cert student in Pres, joins the boys in studio to talk about his journey to glory.
Also on this episode we have our comedians’ sketch while our critics Ronan McCarthy & Cian O Mahony offer their movie & literary recommendations. All that & more so tune in now!
