Congratulations to TY’s Kristers Melnis and Kieran Whelan who completed a week long work experience with Microsoft and were awarded a certificate for demonstrating excellence. They received a special nomination in Best Design App and Introduction to Product Design. Only 3 teams received a cert of recognition and the CBS lads were top. Dear 6th years, The Candidate Self Service Portal for the 2022 Leaving Certificate is now open. It will remain open until 12 noon on Friday 11th, after such time as it will no longer be accessible, ALL 6th years must go onto the portal before it closes and register their subjects and levels. If a student wishes to sit an exam in an extra subject or non curricular subject they must enter this subject on the portal,, along with the chosen level. A student can access the portal by: 1. log onto www.examinations.ie 2. Click on the orange candidate portal tab. 3. Enter their own examination number. 4. Enter their PIN number (the first 4 digits of your PPSN number) 5. Add a current email and mobile number (this will be how the SEC will contact you from then onwards) The good news is that the Leaving Cert fees have been waived for 2022 Leaving Cert students. Please ensure that your son registers BEFORE NOON ON FRIDAY FEBRUARY 11th. THANK YOU. MM
