All TY and 5th year students have been informed of the procedures tomorrow morning around the JC Results earlier today:
The results will be distributed to those students who are in school tomorrow at 10am.
TY's who are on work experience tomorrow, must inform their workplace if they are not going to attend work in the morning and give a time when they will be in work.
If they are coming in, EVERYONE, including TY's, MUST WEAR THEIR FULL UNIFORM as we will be taking a photograph of the entire group to have for the media, on this occasion.
After the photograph, all 5th years, including those who did TY last year, will be allowed to leave school for the day.
We hope that common sense will prevail and that the lads will keep themselves and their friends safe for the day and evening of celebration.
All TY Students will receive their JC results at 10am in school on Wednesday. Students are asked to wear in their full school uniform.
All students need to let their employer know and come to an arrangement with them to allow them to come into school to collect their results this Wednesday.
Thank you.
St Mary’s CBS 3-14, Coláiste Iosagáin 3-07
St Mary’s CBS secured their second consecutive win in the South Leinster Championship with a hard-fought victory over Coláiste Iosagáin, Portarlington. The match, held on Friday, October 4th, saw CBS triumph on a scoreline of 3-14 to 3-07.
Following their opening round victory against FCJ Bunclody, CBS entered this clash with confidence but were tested by a determined Coláiste Iosagáin side. The first half was closely contested, with both teams trading scores, leaving CBS narrowly ahead at the break.
The second half, however, belonged to St Mary’s. Eoin Fitzpatrick, Darragh Fingleton, and Noah Lalor struck vital goals to help CBS pull away in the final stages. Fitzpatrick’s goal, in particular, came at a crucial moment, shifting the momentum firmly in CBS's favour.
Despite a spirited effort from Coláiste Iosagáin, including three well-taken goals of their own, CBS's strong second-half display ensured they maintained control of the game.
With two wins from two, St Mary’s now face Gorey CS in their final group game with the opportunity to top their group and progress to the semi-final of the championship.
