For those of you sitting your first Leaving Cert Exam tomorrow morning, we will have a short Assembly in the Resource Area at 9am sharp. You will then proceed immediately to your Exam Centre. For all of you who may not be doing tomorrow’s exam we wish you the best of luck in all your other exams. Keep a cool head, read the entire paper first, choose your questions, plan your time well then begin. Don’t go over the time allotted for each question, just leave a large space on the page to get back to later. As you begin each question, plan it out: intro / middle - what points need to be made here and then expand them out / wrap it up. If a conclusion is needed, or if you read over and realise you went off target, now is your time to pull it together and drive home that point you need to make. Move on! Don’t get stuck. It will be over before you know it. Please remember that THIS LC DOES NOT DEFINE YOUR TALENTS OR YOUR STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES. It is just where you are this week. A snapshot in time. You need to get here before you can gain entry to other places down the line, but maybe you won’t. Opportunities comes in strange ways and at unexpected times. In a few years time you will look back and see it as a stepping stone to everything else, but not the end of the world. You will learn more about yourself and what you really want to do. So hold on for the journey lads! Hold on to HOPE and grab OPPORTUNITIES. The best of luck all of you. You have do much to bring to the world. So take care. MM

There was 1 change which had to be made to the 2nd & 3rd year booklists which has caused the App to have to take those years’ booklists down over the weekend. However they can all be viewed, in their correct version, on the school website under Parents and Booklists. The heading may still read 2020-21 but the booklists are correct - and read 2021-22 on their heading. Also, Allbooks have the correct version - if you wish to purchase in the shop they will advise. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. Have a lovely weekend.
