TY UCD Campus tour

This morning our Transition Years arrived at UCD campus around 11.45 and went straight to the John Hume building on main campus. The boys were met by some of the UCD Student Leaders who took them in to a lecture hall for some general info on UCD itself and their undergraduate courses on offer. The students were then divided up into groups and were brought on a walking tour of the college including incites into some of UCD’s popular courses. The day was finished off with some fresh air and well deserved snacks by the campus lake. The TY’s were really impressed with the university today with many saying they would hope to return here for third level. The school bank will be open, tomorrow, Monday the 25th, Thursday the 28th and Friday the 29th of February. It will be open during break time and lunch time beside Ms Comerford’s room on these days. Anyone who wishes to open an account must have a photo of their passport or their birth certificate, a phone number or email address and €5 to activate their account. Thank you.

‪Well done to 6th year student Eoin Keenan who won Athletics Ireland Juvenile Award for 2018. Eoin is a member of Emo Rath Athletics club and our school athletics team. Eoin is pictured here with President of Athletics Ireland Georgina Drumm who presented him with the Athletics Ireland Juvenile Award. Massive congratulations to Eoin! Fantastic achievement!
Half day for students on Wed 27th February

This coming Wednesday, February 27th, classes will end at 1.15 pm for all students. All teachers will be undergoing in-house training and school planning during the afternoon. We apologise if this inconveniences any of you. There will be no school buses until 4pm, as on every other day. We appreciate your cooperation. Thank you.
