Callan visit the ISPCA
Today our second year class Callan visited the ISPCA as part of their action project in Keenagh in Longford. The project was completely organised by the class which each responsible for a specific task.
Students learned about animal welfare legislation in Ireland and the work of the ISPCA. They got to meet some of the animals and learnt of their stories.
John Ging and Adam Kingston presented a cheque for over €90 to support the great work that they do. The class raised the money from a bake sale they organised earlier in the year.
The ISPCA commented on the excellent behaviour and engagement of the class. Well done to all students involved.
