Our 1st year Basketball Team are competing in the All Ireland Qtr Final Playoffs in the University of Limerick on Saturday and Sunday. We wish them the best of luck!!

Congrats to the Amber Flag team on running a very successful Mental Health Week in our school with lots of activities taking place throughout the week. Well done also to Ciaran Leonard, Sean Fred and Luke Greene on designing and completing this very impressive art mural.

Monday 6th year Ag Science Interviews - Ms Dunleavy TY's doing Jumpzone 2nd year CSPE class are doing a Cleanup in Ballyroan as part of their CSPE project Tuesday/Wed - 1st years take part in a Drink Aware Programme as part of their SPHE from 9-11 each morning Thursday - Table Quiz held in Scoil Chriost Ri and ran by their Parent Council Zambia Fundraiser in the Midlands Park Hotel at 8 pm - the Zambia 20k Drop TY's going on their Bogathon Friday South Leinster Athletics The 1st and 2nd year Bogathon is on.

A reminder our Zambia Immersion Team are hosting their big fundraiser,the 20k drop this Thursday@8pm in the MidlandsPark hotel!! Tickets can be purchased from the ZIP team leaders-Ms Buckley, Mr Carroll, Mr Walsh, Ms Mulligan and Ms Lewens. Tickets are also available from the students who are going to Zambia - Marc Ramsbottom, Eddie Critchley, Ben Dunne, Alain Carroll, Peter Conroy, Ben Brennan, Thomas Dunne, Niall Carey, Daniel O’Toole, John Keogh, Adam Duffin, Michael Rogers, Brian Fingleton, kevin Swayne, James Connolly and Jack Delaney. Tickets are €15each or 4 for €50 Raffle on the night with some great prizes! A great night is anticipated with the chance for some lucky audience members to win big!! Your support would be greatly appreciated!!

‪Our TY 17/18 mock trial team at the criminal courts in Dublin yesterday!! Unfortunately the boys were not successful but put on a great performance!! Thank you to Maria Kelly for all the hard work she put in with the boys and Ms D. Carroll for her support over the past few weeks and on the day!

Sean Scannell in 5th year will be taking part in the ISF WORLD SCHOOLS GAMES 2018 in Morocco over the next two weeks. He's competing in the 100 and 200 metre backstroke events. This is part of his training and selection for, hopefully, the Tokyo Olympics and World Championships. We wish him lots of luck.

Well done to the Junior Certificate Home Ec students who completed their Practical cookery exams this week. The examiner was happy and the standard of work was very good. Best of luck with the written paper in June boys!

Would any student going into 5th year next September please be sure to have their parents sign their option form tonight and give into the main office or to Mr McWey in the morning. Any student who has discussed repeating the 5th year with Ms Murphy must also submit a new form in order to be included in the numbers. If you haven't done so, please see Ms Murphy in the morning.
