Badminton Notice:

Badminton is cancelled after school today due to unforeseen circumstances.  There is also an after school badminton match next Monday.

Badminton will resume again after school on January 30th.

Dear Second Year parents, guardians and carers,

If you have registered to attend our Second Year Parent Teacher meeting, your timetable is now available for viewing. Please log back into PT Organiser to view your appointment list and print or save a copy of it on your device for the evening.  We have tried to accommodate as many of your requests as possible in the time provided.

A reminder that the parent teacher meeting is intended to provide a brief overview of academic attainment in the subjects that your child will take for the Junior Cycle examinations. There will not be time for a detailed conversation. If you need to talk to a teacher in detail about a concern of any kind then please make an appointment by emailing the relevant teacher or contacting the office.

We look forward to seeing you at the school on Thursday evening (January 26th).

Dear Second Year parents, guardians and carers,

A reminder that you must register for the Parent Teacher Meeting by tomorrow evening.  If you have not registered by then we will have to assume you will not be attending.

The Second Year parent teacher meeting is scheduled for Thursday January 26th from 16:15 to 18:45 in the school hall.

Overview: The Parent Teacher meeting is intended to provide a brief overview of academic attainment in the subjects that your child will take for the Junior Cycle examinations. If you need to talk to someone in detail about a concern of any kind then please make an appointment to see one of us by emailing the relevant teacher or contacting the office. 

What we need you to do:

To allow us to issue a personalised timetable we require that you log on to the PT meeting organiser system  (using your child's VSware ID, available in your child's journal) and confirm your availability by entering your preferences. Enter 1 beside the teacher you would most like to see, 2 beside the next teacher and so on. If you do not wish to meet with a particular teacher, leave that number as 0.

When you have finished, click ‘I will attend the meeting, please save my preferences' 

Alternatively, if you are unable to attend the meeting, please log in and select option ‘I am unable to attend the meeting’.

Please complete this step by no later than Thursday, January 19th.  We cannot issue the timetable to the full year group until everyone has completed this step. 

Log in details:

To access the PTM system, a student ID is required. This is your child's VSware ID code. For ease of access your child has been given this number in their school journal today, alternatively you can access this number via VSware.

You can also log into PTMorganiser directly from the school website, you will find the PTM organiser under the Parent Area section .

Next Steps: The schedule of appointments will issue/be available for viewing when all preferences have been entered by the parent year group.  We will contact you again when your timetable is available but this will be no later than Monday, January 23rd.

Feedback/Improvements: We have listened to your feedback from last year and we hope that having the meeting in person at the school, providing your child with the VSware ID and opening the PTM system further in advance will make this a better experience for everyone.
